Long School of Pharmacy since July 2022. A proud alumna, Dean Gundersen earned her doctor of pharmacy from University of Pacific. She understands the challenges and rewards of post-graduate training having completed a residency at Children’s Hospital National Medical Center in Washington D.C. and a pediatric pharmacotherapy fellowship at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Conn. As a daughter of Norwegian immigrants and a proud first-generation college graduate, she deeply empathizes with students who are trailblazers. Through her experience as a faculty member and preceptor, Dean Gundersen understands one of the keys to be a successful pharmacist is the ability to step into interdisciplinary health care teams.
